As with many things in life, there are many pre-assumptions about homosexuals or "gay people". Such as, a lesbian is attracted to every girl she sees. Majority of these assumptions aren't true and are made by people who don't understand the LGBT world at all...in other words, they are ignorant statements. Frankly, enough is enough.

I recently stumbled upon an article on Buzzfeed titled "25 Questions Straight People Need to Answer Now" by Saeed Jones. The article features questions from people on twitter, directed towards straight people.

Some of the questions featured are :

"Why do straight people think a gay person wants them once they find out their preference? Other straight people don't even want you!"

"Why do straight people think that since you're gay or lesbian that you automatically don't believe in God? Like wow. How ignorant."

"why do straight people think they know so much about gay people?" (this one is my favorite)

"Why do straight people feel the need to ask "who's the man in the relationship?". I could've sworn we're both females."

These are only SOME of the questions and I'm already annoyed! To check out the rest of the questions, click the link http://www.buzzfeed.com/saeedjones/no-we-dont-want-to-sleep-with-you-unless-we-do
