Steam Your Face

 

Steam your face! Why? Because I said so. Just kidding, but really, steam your face. If you've read my post about not skipping the steam room at the gym then you know the benefits of steaming.

 

Recently, because I haven't been seeing any changes in my weight, I stopped working out. I know, I know, but cut me some slack; everyone loses motivation every now and then.

 

Anyways, back to steaming your face; if you can't hit the gym steam room and most likely you don't have a steam room at your house, it can still be done! Okay, yes it's not a steam bath for your entire body but you can take detox baths to make up for that. Steam facials are great for removing toxins from your pores, blood circulation and repairing the skin on your face.

 

Boil water, grab a towel, place the towel over your head and place your head over the pot. the towel should cover your face and pot to keep the steam in. I normally do anywhere from 10-15 min but you can choose the time that best suits you. Follow up with a face wash and light moisturizer!
